Well done to Huss and Michelle who represented Roots Hurstville yesterday and came away with a Sliver and Bronze. Stellar effort! Both were competing for the first time and despite showing their nerves but they
fought hard throughout the rounds. Huss had a popped rib from his first fight and continued with the competition and won his 2nd fight 23:0! And was up early in his finals but his rib flared up again and lost. Nevertheless the experience is priceless and great show of heart and determination. Michelle was fighting in a much heavier category (nearly 5 kg over her weight) and gave the girl a good shot but it came out short.Well done to both of them and I am sure they will want to come back for more!
